Schedule of 2008 HOA Board of Directors Meetings

All homeowners are welcome at HOA Board meetings in a non-voting capacity.

Our Annual Homeowners Meeting will be held on November 2 at 207 Creeks Edge.

Fall Brush Pickup

The fall brush pickup will begin as early as the morning of Monday, October 27, so get your brush out BEFORE that Monday morning. Please remember the following:

Stack brush and limbs neatly next to the edge of the roadway.

Only brush and limbs -- no leaves, logs, bags, boxes, string, wire, old lumber or miscellaneous junk

Limbs maximum 8” diameter

You are responsible for maintaining your yard all the way to the street and between both property lines, so please take this time to cut your grass and weeds, pick up sticks and debris, stack it and watch it disappear.

Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Polks Landing Homeowners Association will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, November 9 at 207 Creeks Edge. As stated in the PLHOA bylaws, the PLHOA Board of Directors consists of five persons, each elected for a two-year term. Terms are staggered with two directors elected one year and three the following year.

This year, the terms of John Kempter, Dave Meister and Anna Maria Ambrose expire. Advance nominations were accepted until October 8 and nominations can be made from the floor at the annual meeting. Voting will be by secret ballot, one vote per property by members in good standing. You may vote by proxy on the form mailed to you or in person.

Misdirected Mail

You may have found mail in your box that was addressed to a neighbor, or at least seen misdirected mail tacked to the bulletin board at the mail station.

The Homeowners Association suggests that you place misdirected mail in the blue mail box opposite the mail station or, if you like being an extra good neighbor, hand delivering it to the rightful recipient. Please do not tack it to the bulletin board, as this is a non-secure area.
